Description
Support planning and coordination of advertising activities of clients across verticals (predominantly consumer packaged goods) and their agencies, promoting their use of Nielsen’s multi-touch attribution (MTA) products, which help clients determine which of many impressions on a consumer led to a conversion/sale. Prepare and deliver presentations to advertiser clients to educate on the value of MTA products and to enlist them as subscribers. Review clients’ media plans and strategies, make recommendations regarding appropriate advertising measurement tools and cadence, and ensure that MTA subscription proposals are aligned to clients’ needs. Collaborate with the product manager and product marketing teams to determine product development needs based on client utilization, feedback and servicing teams’ input. Create strategy with client leads across verticals to expand MTA beyond consumer packaged goods to retail and additional verticals. Develop strategy regarding pricing, delivery and positioning for MTA products relative to other Nielsen solutions. Collaborate with the Marketing Effectiveness client team leads and internal teams on an aligned go-to-market approach. Collaborate with MTA analytics team to ensure the highest caliber client service, insights and delivery. Supervise 1 manager responsible for sales of MTA products and oversee (without supervisory authority) 2 subordinate managers on the MTA delivery and implementation team in connection with client project setup. Travel domestically up to 12 times per year for 1-2 days per trip. Involves the opportunity to telecommute from home from within the Chicago area up to 4 days per week, as feasible.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree in economics or business administration or a related field (foreign equivalent degree acceptable), plus 4 years of experience in media planning, buying and allocation (would also accept a bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of post-baccalaureate progressively responsible experience).
- This must include at least 1 year of experience with the following:
- digital media analytics;
- quantitative analysis;
- market mix modeling;
- managing and developing business-to-business relationships with senior-level client contacts;
- communicating with clients to understand their needs and creating solutions to meet client needs;
- identifying potential markets and pitching to potential clients to develop and expand business;
- using Salesforce for financial and sales lead tracking.
- Must be willing to travel domestically up to 12 times per year for 1-2 days per trip.
