Executive Business Manager
Texas Pride Fuels Seeking an Executive Business Manager.
Texas Pride Fuels was the first fuel distribution company formed solely to service the energy industry, and today we are proud to be one of the top on-site frac fueling companies in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Mexico. The company is looking for an Executive Business Manager with a strong accounting background needed to assist executive staff in performing advanced day to day functions.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Special Projects Department
Technological Advancement – Assist Executive Staff, Operations, Electrical Engineer, Computer programmer, and accounting staff to implement strategic initiatives to improve data flow from the field to the corporate office and through the accounting function. This position will be part of our special projects group.
2) Account Management and Marketing Department
Customer Management – Review Master Service Agreements. Manage Customer Credit. Assist staff and outside legal counsel in collecting extended accounts receivables. Other customer related activities.
Sales Analysis and Account Management Supervision – Bi-Monthly presentation to President and Executive Vice-President about Sales opportunities and current Account Manager Activity. This will be a challenging role as the proper candidate will have to learn company’s strategic goals and be able to work with front line account managers. Administrate our CRM program. Administer rental agreements.
Marketing and Promotional Items – Oversite of what we are ordering and distributing to employees, customers, clients, and potential leads.
Employee Store Oversight – Develop and supervise an on-line store for employees to either purchase company promotional items or use points acquired through safe practices to acquire items.
3) Administrative Department
Cost Control – Supervise and analyze purchase order and cost control system to ensure that every expense is being accounted for properly. Assist current staff with automation of cost accounting functions.
Audits – Assist EVP and direct staff accountant with audits conducted by company CPA firm, banks, insurance companies, customers, state and federal entities, and other groups that we are required to perform audit functions with.
Human Resource Functions – This position will play a part in payroll, workers compensation claims, unemployment claims, and other sensitive HR activities. Candidate will be responsible for benefit invoice reconciliations and higher level employment recruiting.
Sales Tax Reporting – Primary leader for company sales tax functions in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico.
Treasury Management – Learning the JP Morgan Chase on line banking system. Back Up for the weekly bank borrowing base report.
Commercial Insurance – Assist in tracking cost of commercial insurance and how we can better cover our needs from a risk management standpoint.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, preferably Accounting or Finance, with a strong background in the accounting function.
- 5 to 10 years of professional work experience.
- Ideal candidate would be an accountant looking to move towards a management role.
- Analytical, detailed, respectful, confident but not arrogant, well spoken, honest, a problem solver, discreet, and self motivated.
- Capable of working in a close office environment and be part of a productive team.
