Manufacturing/Scheduling Specialist
Job Summary: The role of the Scheduling Specialist is to create and maintain production schedules in order to ensure that deadlines are met with Zero Disappointments and Plus1 customer service is achieved. By developing effective schedules, candidates can expect to play a major role in helping SilcoTek® reach its objectives.
Qualifications Education/Experience: Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required. Previous experience working in a scheduler role is a plus. Microsoft Word and Excel skills required. Starting wage between $20 to $25/hr. based on applicable work experience.
Job #M1 Manufacturing/Quality Control Specialist
Job Summary: The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for providing Plus1 customer service by ensuring that SilcoTek® coatings meet our stringent specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be committed to being a firm advocate of quality within the organization. QC experience as well as in-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards are essential. Root cause analysis and project management skills are necessary in this position.
Qualifications Education/Experience: Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required. Previous experience working in a quality control or inspection role, root cause analysis and project management history preferred. Microsoft Word and Excel skills required. Starting wage between $20 to $25/hr. based on applicable work experience.
Job #M2 Manufacturing/QC Inspector Technicians (2 positions available)
Job Summary: The Manufacturing/QC Inspector Technician is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through their thorough examination of SilcoTek® treated customer supplied parts prior to shipment. This position requires a high level of detail, acute observation skills and analytical thinking. They are also responsible for understanding and being able to assist in other areas of the production process.
Qualifications Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous QC or inspection experience preferred. Experience working in a machine shop or manufacturing environment is a plus. Microsoft Word and Excel skills required. Starting wages between $15 to $20/hr. based on applicable work experience.
Job #M3 Manufacturing/Shipping Technicians (2 positions available)
Job Summary: The Manufacturing/Shipping Technicians main focus is ensuring customer satisfaction through the accurate and thorough processing of customer shipments. This position is responsible for maintaining proper certifications and clearances to allow SilcoTek® to ship all domestic and international orders flawlessly avoiding customer disappointments. They are also responsible for understanding and being able to assist in other areas of the production process. This position entails a high level of detail, acute observation skills, analytical and mechanical skills.
Qualifications Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Previous shipping experience preferred. International and/or hazardous shipping experience a plus as well as experience working in a machine shop or manufacturing environment. Microsoft Word and Excel skills required. Starting wages between $15 to $20/hr. based on applicable work experience.
Job # M4 SilcoTek® 's regular business hours are 8am - 5pm weekdays with varying hours and weekends as needed.
