Community Manager in Lake Kiowa, Texas
Lake Kiowa is located approximately 60 miles north of Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex in what many
folks describe as the most beautiful home community in the country and the very best little
kept secret. Lake Kiowa is a gated community with a recreational lake, an 18-hole golf course,
and a community center with dining and tavern facilities. All facilities are for the use of members
only and all residents are members. There are many active organizations and other

The Community Manager position reports to the Board of Directors, through the President, at
Lake Kiowa and performs a variety of duties and responsibilities that are outlined in the
governing documents of the Association. This key position provides broad managerial duties
that include: developing and managing the community budget, managing the amenities (lake,
golf, community center, parks and roads), managing security operations in the gated
community, providing leadership for Lake Kiowa employees and demonstrating excellent
communication skills with both residents and non-residents.
Job requirements include the following: Prefer a Bachelor’s degree, extensive related
experience as a manager/assistant manager in a community with similar responsibilities,
experience managing budgets and personnel, experience with managing community governing
documents, and experience working with an elected Board of Directors. Candidates with
