Director of Service – South Region. Multivac, Inc. Southlake, TX. Responsible for providing electrical & mechanical eng. expertise to lead Service team & provide guidance to engineers & technicians. Travel req. up to 70% of time to customer locations w/in assigned south reg. (NM, TX, AR, LA, MS) of the U.S. & to corp. headquarters located in Kansas City, MO. Requires: Bach. deg. in Mech. or Elec. Eng. or related. 2 years exp. in field service management. Demonstrated exp. with navigating highly demanding customer expectation for 24-7 equipment support. Demonstrated ability to manage daily internal & external escalations of highly stressful & demanding situations. Demonstrated understanding of how to effectively coordinate & leverage capabilities across internal multi-site eng. & mfg. resources. Demonstrated ability to organize, execute & manage numerous internal & external customer requests at varying stages of progress & complexity. Demonstrated exp. most effectively utilizing a team of Field Serv. Techs across a range of capabilities, availability, & customer requests. Proven track record of leading & supporting scheduling efforts to ensure customer requests are resolved as efficiently as possible. Demonstrated ability to on-board Field Serv. Techs which possess varying or limited exp. w/in food & medical packaging & food processing environments. Demonstrated ability to facilitate & collaborate w/in technical discussions resulting in clearly defined next steps & solutions. Demonstrated capability to understand all critical facets of demanding situations & proactively prepare & lead a team through defined next steps. Demonstrated ability to read & interpret safety rules, operating & maintenance instructions, & procedure manuals. Demonstrated ability to work with mathematical concepts.
