Annual Giving Director

Under the direction of the Associate Vice President for University Advancement (AVP), the Annual Giving Director is responsible for increasing philanthropic support for Indiana State University’s Annual Giving program and other fundraising projects. This includes the utilization of various marketing platforms, including direct mail, electronic appeals, social media channels, and phone solicitations. The Annual Giving Director will also serve in a key leadership role to ensure the successful planning and implementation of ISU’s annual giving day and the faculty/staff giving program. The Annual Giving Director will develop and maintain a portfolio of donors and prospects with an emphasis on face-to-face visits and personal relationship building in order to ensure the successful cultivation and solicitation of leadership annual gifts, and will be measured on development metrics with monthly, quarterly, and annual goals. This position will also supervise the Annual Giving Coordinator and will provide strategic oversight for the Student Philanthropy Organization.

Required Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience of working with annual giving programs or similar marketing and revenue-building programs. Candidates must also possess a valid driver’s license.
