Indian Industries, LP is a family-owned fabricator and distributor of gaskets and seals serving Defense/Aerospace and Oil/Gas customers. We are looking for a skilled Quality Control Representative with experience in maintaining ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management systems to join our team and be responsible for managing our quality management system.

Candidates with less than 2 years experience in Quality Control with an ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality management system will not be considered!


Responsibilities and Duties (include but not limited to):
 Liaison to the customer, production, purchasing and sales teams regarding quality issues
 Maintain ISO 9001 & AS9100 quality management system and certification
 Perform AS9102 FAI inspections as well as uploading and monitoring all documentation through customer approval process
 Dimensionally inspect products at various stages in production process
 Review customer orders for quality notes to ensure proper quality requirements are flowed down from the customer order
 Complete inspection reports and Certificate of Conformances documents for customer outgoing shipments
 Responsible for special labeling or packaging requirements that may be required by customer
 Recommend modification of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
 Evaluate data, write reports, work instructions or procedures to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards
 Train other company employees as required to perform QC tasks and adhere to quality management procedures and work instructions

Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum 2 years experience in Quality Control with ISO 9001 or AS9100 Quality Management System
 Excellent oral and written communications skills
 Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients and other employees
 Ability to problem solve in a timely manner
 Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check work
 Excellent time management skills while maintaining flexibility to daily schedule changes
 Task oriented, with excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize workload
 Enthusiastic attitude, self-motivated team player - willing to cross-train
 Professional demeanor with ability to adapt to new or changing circumstances
