Technical Systems Engineer - Network

As a Technical Support Specialist focused on the network, you will build and support network infrastructures and provide technical services to end users. You will be accountable for the distribution of sound solutions for voice and data equipment, network services, and new installations of hardware and software. This includes making routine software changes and upgrades to existing products and being responsible for disaster recovery. Daily maintenance will include hardware, software, wireless equipment, video conference systems, and supporting Cisco phone systems among other technologies.
In addition to Great West, the network team provides support to other companies who also are members of Old Republic Insurance Group; therefore, you will also research and deploy new technologies required to support other ORI companies and locations.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- A bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience or equivalent applicable work experience.
- Cisco and/or CCN certification highly desired.
- Strong networking skills with switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Experience with VMWare and/or Silver Peak are beneficial.
