The Lead Generation Specialist plays a pivotal role in account acquisition and in the initiation of the sales process. The Lead Generation Specialist will work across a region, utilizing key data sources and insights to set and secure appointments for a group of sales executives. The Lead Generation Specialist must be a relentless phone-dial, articulate, polished, possess good judgment, knowledge about the client’s business and can place company benefits to secure a meeting. Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, communication and accuracy are a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
New Business Solicitation
· Independent prospecting of opportunities that will drive new customers·
· Utilization of data systems to extract key business insights
· Understand client business and products.
· Acts as key client advocate and liaison.
· Interpret client needs and convey internally
· Works with new client to understand marketing objectives and opportunities
· Sells need for an appointment / meeting via phone
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
2+ years prior sales/account management experience
Skills:
This person must be highly organized, with a charismatic and varied communication style. Familiar with marketing and direct selling. Outbound phone etiquette and successful appointment setting skills is a must. Must be proficient in using technology and ability to use a CRM system.
