The Business Management Department at Farmingdale State College invites applications for a tenure track faculty position in Marketing at the Assistant Professor level. Excellent communications and collaboration skills are required. Ability to develop and teach a range of courses in Marketing including introductory and upper level courses. The faculty member may be expected to teach in multiple formats including hybrid, online and traditional face-to-face classes. The normal teaching load is 12 credit-hours per semester. The ability to work in a collegial and collaborative work environment is essential.
All faculty members at Farmingdale State College have three workload components: teaching, research and scholarly activity, and service. Service includes advising students as well as serving on departmental and college wide committees. The successful candidate will demonstrate an interest and high level of competence in teaching. Candidates should have a research agenda that complements their area of academic specialty and provide evidence indicating potential for peer-reviewed publications and presentations, both of which are necessary for promotion and tenure at Farmingdale State College. The successful candidate for this position will be expected to maintain their qualifications as a Scholarly Academic as per the Business Management department's faculty qualifications guidelines.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ph.D. in Marketing or a related field and an established research agenda required. ABD with all degree requirements completed including the dissertation defense by the date of appointment will be considered.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous college teaching experience and knowledge of course instructional technologies and online course management systems such as Blackboard or Brightspace.
- Ability to teach in two or more of the following areas in Marketing; Marketing Principles, Market Research, Product Development, Marketing Analytics, Social Media Marketing, and Sales.
This is a 10-month UUP faculty position.
