Small, friendly, one physician family practice office in Crowley, Texas looking to hire someone for Medical Billing and Collections. 

Devices: Office and internet computers, calculator, typewriter, printers, phone.

Qualifications:

• ICD-10 coding
• Paper billing
• Insurance verification of eligibility and benefits (deductibles, copays, patient responsibility) and communicate information to office manager, receptionist and nurse as needed. 
• Must have the ability to utilize your own resources to problem solve.
• Must be able to efficiently prioritize workload
• Work mail correspondence and knowledgeable in appeal process to insurance companies
• Collections from insurance companies and patients
• Post insurance and patient payments and proper adjustments to accounts
• Phone etiquette in communicating with insurance companies, patients and CME liaisons
• Order supplies as needed for billing and collection purposes
• Credentialing with Insurance Companies
• Submitting and tracking proper CME paperwork for physician
• Flexible and willing to perform other duties, when asked, from office manager, other employees and/or physician.
• Keep track of vacation hours for employees and report to office manager, as needed.

Pay based on experience.
