Field Service Irrigation Worker
The City of Benbrook is accepting applications for a Field Service 1/Irrigation Worker in the Park Department.
Responsible for repairing and maintaining existing irrigation systems on all city-owned properties. Assists in the installation of new irrigation systems following local and state codes. Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to facilitate repairs and install new irrigation systems. Operates light to medium equipment such as backhoes, skid steers, dump trucks, trenchers, tractors, lawn mowers and other landscaping equipment. Performs construction and park facility repairs using skilled trade practices. Assists in coordinating day to day tasks withy crew. Inspects equipment and performs minor maintenance activities and reports problems to the supervisor. Responds to after hour callouts for storm damage, high water, tree damage, building damage and ice/snow removal/control. May operate hand tools and heavy complex equipment. Maintains regular and punctual on-site attendance. Performs operational support for special events sometimes outside normal working hours. Performs other duties as assigned

Salary Range: $44,435 to $59,547 annually
