Location: Orange CT

Human Resources Coordinator – Job Responsibilities

The Human Resources Coordinator role is a high energy, fast paced dynamic role with a high degree of multitasking. This role will report to the Director of Human Resources. This position will be accountable for HR business processes, projects and administrative support.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Benefits (Medical/Dental/401K information & coordination)
  • Benefits/Open Enrollment 
  • Oversee CT Paid Leave filing 
  • On-boarding/New Hire Orientations
  • Temp to hire facilitation, new hire probationary follow-up
  • Assist with documentation for Payroll
  • Responsible for Department of Labor notices for termed employees
  • Setup 401k meetings
  • Setup the sexual harassment classes 
  • Other HR related responsibilities, as assigned 

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: 9-5pm 

Job Types: Temp to hire 

Salary: $25/hr

Experience:

  • Human Resources: 1-3 years (Required)
  • Proven ability to collaborate with all levels of employees
  • Strong organization and prioritizing skills with attention to detail.
  • Some knowledge of HR laws and current practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with HRIS, preferably ADP
  • Strong MS Office skills

Education:

Bachelor’s or associate degree (Preferred)
