Shipping Associate for Parts Department

Air Power Inc. is one of the largest aircraft parts supplier in the world, as well as the preferred engine distributor for Continental Aerospace Technologies and Lycoming Engines. Air Power is looking to grow the company by filling the position of a shipping associate in our parts warehouse. This will be a full time job working four 10-hour days a week from 10am to 8pm. The shifts will be either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday. You will be expected to receive and organize stock, prepare outgoing shipments, manage all warehouse paperwork, and ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse.

• Organizing, maintaining, and monitoring stock.
• Cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools, and equipment to ensure efficiency.
• Entering data correctly into the proper programs.
• Loading and unloading trucks as required.
• Maintaining shipping and receiving records, as well as any necessary warehouse paperwork.
• Packaging products for shipping along with preparing any necessary shipping documents.
• Handle issues that arise in shipping or inventory.
• Interact with customers and freight companies on a regular basis.
• Neatly packaging products for shipping.
• Ensuring accuracy with product shipments.
• Any other duties as required by management.

Required –
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Attentiveness to details.
• Ability to handle pressure and work in a fast-paced environment with quick decision-making skills.
• Dependable, reliable, punctual, and willing to work overtime if required to get the job done.

Preferred –
• Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping software.
• HAZMAT shipping experience.
• Experience operating a forklift and other warehouse machines.
• Warehouse, shipping, or logistic experience.
• Aviation or automotive experience.
