Residential Treatment Director
Under the general administrative direction of the Chief Operating Officer, the Treatment Director – Wichita Campus is responsible for the overall operations of the residential treatment program and clinical services provided through residential programs operating on the Wichita Campus. Responsibilities include oversight of all operations within the residential treatment program, and the development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of the clinical aspects and functions in residential programs operating from the Wichita campus including supportive consultation and training with program teams from: The LIFE Project, Families Together, Street Outreach, Foster Care and the Youth Emergency Shelter. The Residential Services Treatment Director approves all treatment level assessments, service plans, and oversees clinical services and third party clinical service providers. The job requires sensitivity to client trauma histories, life experiences, and the population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.
The Treatment Director – Wichita Campus coordinates with the Director of Residential Services – Wichita Campus and the Chief Operating Officer to ensure that the clinical goals of the department are achieved. Including the full implementation of trauma informed care and related evidence-based programs; clinical fidelity to selected models, that children are receiving the clinical and case management services needed, that service plans are completed and reviewed for quality and accuracy, and that staff are supported in learning and maintaining their skills in trauma informed care interventions.
Education:
A Master’s degree with course work in the behavioral sciences or education. Must have and maintain appropriate licensure of LPC, LMFT, or LCSW. Clinical licensure and license as a Child Care Administrator preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of five years providing treatment services in a foster care, residential treatment, or behavioral health setting. Five years of direct supervision experience in a clinical or residential treatment center setting.
